SPONSOR A SHOW 

 

Sponsoring a show will pay for the 75% of licensing costs. You will be printed as the sponsor of the show on posters and on our show t-shirts. Prices will vary per show depending on licensing agreements, please contact Judith Cosgray judith@riseupartsalliance.org to get pricing.

You may submit your own advertisement/artwork, or provide us information and we will design it for you. Recommended 300dpi, and saved as JPG or PNG. Fill out the forms on our website www.RiseUpArtsAlliance.org, under the tab [Sponsorship] or [Production Info] for you to fill out information online and pay through our website. If you are writing a check, please let us know and we will email you the invoice. 

SPONSOR A PENGUIN

Rise Up Arts Penguin Project is a unique program,  and we are the first theatre in Ohio to become a Chapter Organization of The Penguin Project Foundation. The Penguin Project is an award-winning nationwide program that provides a supportive, encouraging theater experience for children and young adults with special needs/disabilities. Students from age 5 to 21 with special needs/disabilities will be the stars of the show. They are joined on stage by peer mentors with and without special needs/disabilities to help them on stage, become a support system, and most importantly a friend. 

The Penguin Project has found that when ALL children participate in the performing arts, it enhances social interaction, communication skills, self-confidence and self-esteem. The program reaches beyond the stage to create a social network for all children involved. 

The Penguin Project strives to demonstrate that individuals with special needs are fully capable of participating in community activities with the same dedication and enthusiasm as others, if given opportunity and support. The origin of the name “Penguin Project” comes from the unique characteristics of penguins. They are extremely playful and curious, and work well together. More importantly, they have a “disability” that distinguishes them from other birds – they can’t fly! Instead, penguins waddle and toboggan on their bellies over the snow, and are excellent swimmers in the water. So like our young artists, they have adapted to the challenges of their environment, and have not allowed their unique differences to interfere with their lives.

We wish to alleviate the financial burden to families of children with special needs/disabilities by forming the “Sponsor a Penguin” program. The cost to produce this program is not inexpensive, and usually runs $250 per person for us to bring it to fruition. Rise Up Arts runs on a tuition based program, asking for $50 per child in tuition, and to help with fundraising activities. Sponsors will be able to alleviate that financial burden so that the parents can focus on supporting their students. 

The Penguin Sponsorship will provide to the Artist and Mentor:

  • Tuition Coverage of $50 per Student

  • T-Shirt Commemorating their production

  • Relief of fundraising burden and opt out/make up fees

In recognition of your generous donation:

  • Your Name on our “Penguin Project Iceberg” a fun display at the production, as well as at the Fairfield County Fair 

  • Recognition on our Website and Social Media

  • 4 tickets to the Production
