On Thursday 30 May 2024, the Lancaster-Fairfield Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting to celebrate the new permanent home for Rise Up Arts Alliance at the historic Lancaster Masonic Temple.

Representing RUAA were Judith Cosgray, Executive Director; Jessica Hill, Assistant Director, and Cindy Muller, Secretary.  Representing Lancaster Lodge No. 57 F. & A.M. were Jonathan W. Allison, Worshipful Master, and Thurlow B. Weed IV, Acting Secretary.

Bottoms Up is the nation’s first event dedicated to the celebration of midcentury barware culture. It’s situated in the heart of Ohio, a state that’s historically significant as a major producer of midcentury glassware. Sparked by the revival of Gay Fad Studios and growing interest in midcentury barware, this event provides a real experience from Ohio’s Glass Town.

This major event will take place throughout the downtown area over three days June 21-23.  Lancaster Masonic Temple will be the hosting location for the VIP reception and the Vendor Show.  Gay Fad Studios has partnered with Rise Up Arts Alliance to provide food and beverage service for this historic event.
